With only 8 million, Da Nang girl renovated a 12m² motel room “to a new page”
Most of Thanh Tram’s time now (currently living and working in Da Nang) is at home. And the only thing that can help Tram be comfortable working and living can only be a streamlined and “chill” room. That’s why she did not hesitate to refresh this small room!
“The room I rented was a bit small, only 12 square meters in area, so the furniture mainly chose what was needed and quality, not cheap. Although my room is small, but it has a loft, so many things that are rarely used are put on top of the socks, the toilet is also on top, mainly living below. So the above part is used for storage and cleaning“, Tram shared.
Tram bought a pallet bed for 1.2 million; cabinet 2.9 million; bedside tab 1.1 million; bed sheets 300k; 100k paintings; round mirror 450k; 1.5 million desk. Total cost is 8 million. The rest is to use old stuff.
After redecorating the room, Tram learned some basic experiences. The first is to choose the right color tone, avoid messy products when mixed. Solve rough parts first such as: walls, floors, electric lights if you encounter an old room.
List out the most essential products to buy. For example, beds, shelves, cabinets, tables… then choose decorations such as paintings, mirrors, flowers… If you know a little bit about drawing, sketch out how to arrange them in advance to avoid having to move many times. . And then set up the decoration.

The room space at night is also very chill.
