Particularly in Hanoi, the car company prioritizes arrangement at locations such as in the city center, highways and national highways (60 – 80 km will arrange 1 charging station). Each of these charging stations will have from 10 to 20 chargers that can be charged at the same time. In the inner city, the calculation unit according to the radius of 2 – 5 km will arrange 1 charging station.

Therefore, it can be affirmed that if only electric vehicles are used to move in the inner city, the concern about the lack of charging stations has now been resolved. However, having enough charging stations is one thing, having room to charge is another matter entirely.

Currently, in some car parking areas in apartment buildings in big cities, charging posts have also been installed to serve buyers of VF e34, VF8 and VF9. Although this area is only used for charging, not for parking, even Vinfast’s electric cars are not allowed to park, a large number of petrol car users still park their cars at the charging posts. This phenomenon appears in some apartment buildings in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The fact that petrol cars encroach on parking spaces of electric vehicles is causing mixed views of the car user community. Mr. Quang Huy, residing in Ca Mau said: “I feel it is unfair that petrol cars cannot be parked at the charging stations. Besides, there are not too many cars charging, so parking there will not affect anyone. , it is important to have a parking space, saving the driver time”.

Agreeing with this idea, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Minh, resident in Hanoi shared: “These are still public parking areas, not Vinfast’s only area, why can’t other cars stop? park. Are electric cars being over-priority?”.

On the other hand, many people still assert that it is wrong for some drivers to arbitrarily park their cars at charging station areas. Vu Quoc Tiep, currently working in Hanoi, shared: “Before setting up the charging posts, Vinfast asked for a careful survey of the people and legal procedures to prove that this is a specialized charging area. In my opinion, the car-using community should be more lenient with each other so that no one has to suffer, those who do not have the need to charge. don’t stop here to show civility and courtesy to others”.

Along with that, according to a VF e34 user in Hanoi, once when his car was about to run out of fuel, but going to 3 or 4 charging stations, he witnessed vehicles encroaching on charging posts. Fortunately, he found a genuine Vinfast car dealer to have a place to refuel.

In addition, there are many other people who believe that the fact that vehicles blatantly park their cars at charging stations is because their consciousness is still not high. In terms of regulations, whether gasoline or electric vehicles, the charging station is not a place to stop and park. According to Mr. Nhan, residing in Binh Duong, an employee of Vinfast affirmed that after fully charged Vinfast electric cars, they must immediately move as soon as possible, not more than 30 minutes, and must not stay for too long to work. personal jobs.

In fact, Vinfast has installed devices to prevent other vehicles from parking indiscriminately at charging stations such as charging stations at Vincom Megamall Smart City. Therefore, only cars from the Vietnamese brand can put the car in to refuel. This is an urgent consumer protection move, helping to reduce the difficulty in finding charging points for electric car owners.

Objectively, however, apartment buildings with parking lots for charging posts in the past were parking lots for traditional cars. At that time, many parking lots were also overcrowded. Therefore, if it is not possible to park the car at the charging station, many residents who use the car of that building will suffer from a lack of parking space, losing the right to use the service at their place. Therefore, Vinfast as well as their charging station partners should also sit down and find a reasonable solution to plan a reasonable charging station location, so as not to let the lack of parking space for residents happen. .
