Accordingly, at about 5 a.m. on May 13, Mrs. Nguyen Thi En (49 years old) and Pham Thi Teo (57 years old) from Yen Dong commune went down to the boat station to invite each other to catch stone snails in the forest located far from Yen Thai Lake. more than 300 ha.
Passionate about catching snails, the two lost their way into the deep forest and rocky mountains of more than 1,000 hectares and lost contact with their family. On the morning of May 14, when the family did not return, the family organized a search and did not find it, so they reported to the local government.

After receiving the report, the local government mobilized about 70 people, divided into 5 groups, to organize a search in the lake bed and rocky mountains. At about 3 p.m. on May 15, the authorities found and rescued two victims.
