According to the Government’s Resolution 42, in order to support people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, such as employees without labor contracts who lose their jobs; employees whose labor contracts are terminated but are not eligible for unemployment benefits; household business; Employers borrow capital to pay wages to stop working for employees…, Long An has supported 138,620 people, with a total budget of over 167 billion VND. For workers without labor contracts who lost their jobs, Long An has supported over 5,000 people, with a total budget of over 12 billion VND.

Implementing the Government’s Resolution 68 on supporting employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Long An has also provided support for 700,000 people in 13/13 target groups with a total budget. over 1,177 billion VND.

In addition to spending support from the central budget, the province also actively provides specific support from local funds to 99,082 workers without labor contracts who lost their jobs, with the amount of 193 billion dong. In which, more than 14,000 people selling lottery tickets were supported with a total amount of over 28 billion VND.

In order to help those in need, Long An also mobilizes a lot of resources from the people with many practical activities: reducing accommodation fees, reducing electricity and water bills, meals 0 dong, food 0 dong, rice support , necessities for the poor, laborers, people in the blocked area…
