Vietnam’s League of Legends team excellently overcame Thailand to win the gold medal in e-Sports at SEA Games 31.
Last night (May 15) took place the final match of 3 events of League of Legends: Wild Rift (League of Legends: Wild Rift – Mobile) men’s team, Survival Arena (Free Fire) and FIFA Online 4 (PC) of eSports.
Notably, in the finals of all three of these competitions, there were athletes from the host country Vietnam.
With the subject of League of Legends: Wild Rift (League of Legends: Wild Rift – Mobile), the Vietnamese e-Sports team excellently won 3-0 against the Thai team to win the gold medal (League of Legends: Wild Rift – Mobile). Gold medal) of E-Sports at SEA Games 31.

The same thing could not happen in FIFA Online 4 (PC) content. The FIFA Online 4 Vietnam team lost to Thailand with a score of 3:2 in the final, thereby bringing home another silver medal (HCB) for the Vietnamese sports delegation.
In the content of the Survival Arena (Free Fire), all teams competed across 7 maps (Bemuda, Kalahari, Purgatory, Bemuda, Kalahari, Purgatory and Random), on two days May 13 and 15. . The team with the highest total kill and survival points will win the gold medal.

After 2 days of competition, although there were 2 teams participating in the Survival Arena (Vietnam 1 and Vietnam 2), Vietnamese athletes only achieved modest results when ranked in 5th place ( Vietnam 2) and 6th (Vietnam 1).
At the e-sports at SEA Games 31, athletes will compete in 8 games and 10 competitions with a total of 10 sets of medals. All the subjects on the list of eSports competitions at the 2021 SEA Games are games that have been licensed for release by the Ministry of Information and Communications in Vietnam.
Eight games were selected to compete at SEA Games 31 including League of Legends (League of Legends: Wild Rift – Mobile), Mobile Union, PUBG, Survival Arena (Free Fire), FiFa Online 4, Raid ( Crossfire), League of Legends (PC) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
To win the medal, athletes will have to go through 3 rounds of competition: group stage, semi-final and final.

After Wild Rift (League of Legends: Wild Rift – Mobile), Survival Arena (Free Fire) and FIFA Online 4 (PC), the team Vietnam eSports will continue to compete in 6 games with 7 more competitions.
Today (May 16), Vietnamese eSports athletes will compete in individual PUBG Mobile content. Competition time is from 15h00 on 16/5.
The competition schedule of eSports will last until the end of May 22, 2022. The eSport content at SEA Games 31 will be held at the National Convention Center (Hanoi).
