According to statistics from 2018 to 2020, there are 10 industry groups that always top in terms of training quantity and annual number of graduates, which are: Education science and teacher training; Humanities; Behavioral social sciences; Business and management; Law; Computer and information technology; Technology; Technology; Architecture and construction; Health.

According to the data of 3 years 2018, 2019, 2020, the fluctuation of input as well as the change of graduates, approaching the top 10 fields in 3 years has a significant change.

“For example, the science of education and teacher training is decreasing, in 2018 there were 27,028 pedagogical teachers, in 2019 there were 28,038 teachers, in 2020 there were 21,034 teachers.

Information about employment trends based on the percentage of graduates with jobs, Mr. Bui Van Linh shared statistics for 2020, divided into 4 groups: Group 1 is the industry groups with a high percentage of graduates. have a high level of employment, specified above 85%. Group 2 is quite good, the percentage of students who have a job one year after graduation is from 75-85%. Group 3 averages from 70 to less than 75%. Group 4 is at a low level of less than 70%.

Specifically, the figures for 2020 show that group 1 includes the transportation service industry with 89.2% of graduates having jobs, the arts industry with 85.4%, and the veterinary industry with 85.2%. However, this industry group has a low number of graduates.

Group 2 has a number of industry groups: Architecture and construction with 79.6%, Production and processing at 79.5%, Statistics with 77.7%, Health at 66.7%, Agriculture and forestry. industry and fisheries reached 75.8%, life sciences 75.6%.

“In this group, we are very pleased that the life sciences industry has a relatively high employment rate. This is good news because we are having a hard time training human resources in the basic sciences.” Mr. Linh said.

Group 3 has a number of major groups: Science, education and training, 74.5%, Humanities 74.7%, Engineering 74.1%, Engineering technology 73.4%, Machine computing and information technology reached 73.6%.

Group 4 is the group with a low employment rate of graduates: Social services at 56.3%; Environment and environmental protection reached 59.9%; Law reached 64.9%; Business management reached 68.8%, Social and behavioral sciences reached 69.2%.
