The house was built in Bien Hoa – Dong Nai, with a west-facing facade, so the first problem the architect posed was the solution to sun protection for the project.
To solve this problem, the architects of the architectural firm Summer House came up with a solution to use a facade decoration system, and at the same time arrange an additional sliding door system.
The design team said that this sliding door system has the effect of pulling out when it is dark to get a view for the master bedroom located in front of the facade. The sliding door system will be pulled back when it is morning to block the sun from the west.
Inside, the stairs are set to one side in order to free up space on the ground floor. The living room is arranged throughout, combined with the backyard and skylight to form a unified space, which has the effect of ventilation for the whole house.
The kitchen space is neatly designed and cozy.
The dining room, kitchen and living room are connected to each other, creating openness for living space, as well as enhancing connection with family members.
The bedroom is designed with a modern, minimalist style. The door to the balcony combined with the window overlooking the skylight brings wind convection to the bedroom, creating a feeling of always ventilation.
The children’s bedroom is designed with bright colors, has a private balcony with a sliding door system that can be pulled out and folded, suitable for light conditions.
