Bringing a bowl of beef porridge to her ex-mother-in-law, she sadly said a sentence that broke my heart

Divorced but I still visit often ex-husband’s parents. My ex-husband was get a new wife then moved to his wife’s house, leaving his parents alone at home. In the past, when I lived here, I took care of my grandparents very well, just like taking care of my biological parents.

Now, I have become “a stranger”, so I can only visit my grandparents once a month. Every time I buy some food, clothes or milk for my grandparents. When they saw me, they were very happy, kept chatting and talking, not letting me go home.

Yesterday, I took my son to visit his grandparents again. Seeing that my mother-in-law was sick, I went to the market to buy some beef to cook porridge for her to eat. Picking up the bowl of porridge, the mother-in-law tried a piece and then whispered: “It’s delicious. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten a bowl of porridge this delicious.”

I looked at my mother-in-law eating deliciously but my heart ached. My father-in-law also brought a bowl of porridge to eat, saying that it had been a long time since my ex-husband had not visited his grandparents. He also doesn’t care about his parents. My grandparents lived on the money and the food I bought ready to put in the refrigerator.

I did not expect my ex-husband to be such an unfilial person. Get a new wife and don’t remember your parents anymore.

With a heavy heart, I cooked some more food for my ex-in-law’s parents for dinner. Then go to the market to buy a lot of food, clean it and put it in the refrigerator.

I love my husband’s parents It’s too old, but I can’t take care of my grandparents forever. Should I call my ex-husband and ask him to take care of his parents?
