It is forecasted that in the period of 2021 – 2025, the country’s demand for social housing will need about 294,600 apartments with a total investment of about VND 220,000 billion. To meet this huge demand, many experts suggest that the Law on Housing 2014 should be amended as soon as possible, the Law on Real Estate Business 2014 in order to remove obstacles and inadequacies in the implementation of policies on social housing, worker housing, etc. ensure that project investors enjoy substantive incentives.
