Famous singer and dancer Y Thanh released a ballad MV

After 2 years of silence due to the epidemic, choreographer/singer Y Thanh has just released the MV I dreamed about. The song was written by musician Vu Minh Tam out of sympathy with Y Thanh when it comes to love, dreams and hopes. “The song is not my real love story. But Mr. Tam wrote it in harmony with me, especially the purpose of wanting to convey the message of love and family to listeners”, the singer said.

The MV is a love story containing both sweetness and regret. Y Thanh wants to convey the message that each person should grasp happiness in the present, love each other more, be ready to sympathize and understand each other. Rapper KIT’s gentle rap adds new color to a ballad song like I dreamed about.

The process of filming the MV faced many difficulties. Initially, Y Thanh planned to shoot the MV at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House to take advantage of his forte of musicals and choreography. However, an orchestra at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House requires too many people and does not guarantee epidemic prevention regulations. Therefore, Y Thanh changed the idea to shoot the MV at the studio to ensure the original spirit.

Y Thanh (born in 1973) is best known to Vietnamese audiences as a choreographer. He used to be a consultant for the program Music and dance moves, The element of mystery, choreographer of the show Vietnam Idol and So you think you can dance as well as grading House of Dreams – Brightening up with vitality with diva Hong Nhung.

Y Thanh was born and raised in Australia. At the event, he wittily said that he had worked very hard to practice dancing, singing and acting to make a living in the country. “Simply when you know how to dance, sing and act, you will get more jobs, easier to go to casting,” he said.

Thanks to his awareness and efforts, Y Thanh quickly built a name in foreign countries. He used to participate in the famous musical Miss Saigon Composed by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil. In 1998, he participated in the show of the current A-list Hong Kong star Andy Lau. During that period, Y Thanh toured many countries around the world.

In 2009, he returned to Vietnam to settle and work showbiz domestic. Y Thanh always wishes to sing in her homeland, contributing a color to the flow of contemporary music.
