As noted by PV, the Pho Vien – Nguyen Dinh Tu route has a length of about 2km, but there are dozens of uncapped manholes in the middle of the road, potentially causing many traffic accidents.
Recently, people living on Pho Vien – Nguyen Dinh Tu route (Co Nhue 2 ward) have reported that a series of manholes have lost their covers or been damaged without being repaired or replaced. This situation has caused people passing through here to stumble and have accidents.
Dozens of manhole covers have lost their lids, “trapping” pedestrians on the Pho Vien – Nguyen Dinh Tu route, Co Nhue 2 ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
Actual survey, PV noted that the Pho Vien – Nguyen Dinh Tu route has a length of about 2km but there are dozens of uncapped manholes in the middle of the road. There are many schools and hospitals on both sides of the street, so the number of people in traffic is very large, if you do not pay attention, you will stumble and have an accident at any time.
A manhole on the sidewalk of Vien Street right at the University of Mining and Geology is nearly 2m deep, covered with small branches and pieces of wood.
Nguyen Thi Hoa, a resident of Pho Vien, said that this road often happens accidents, especially on rainy days, when the water is flooded, the manholes are not visible.
“It was raining that day, so the water covered the mouth of the hole, a young man driving alone did not pay attention to crash, fell and rolled a few times, fortunately only slightly scratched his arm and leg,” said Ms. Hoa.
According to PV’s observations, most of these manholes do not have lids and warning signs of danger. There are holes covered with grass and weeds around like traps for pedestrians on the sidewalk.
These lidless sewers are like “traps” for passersby.
Not only affecting traffic participants, these manholes and manholes without lids also cause a loss of urban beauty.
Many people take bricks to block at either end of the warning.
Covered sewers panic passers-by.
The culvert with the lid floating on the road surface also makes people worry equally, because of the potential for many traffic accidents.
The same thing happened on the sidewalk of this stretch of road.
This situation has existed for a long time, making it very dangerous for people to move around if not paying attention.
Besides, the upper road is also being polluted because the water from the sewer leaks black and stinks.
Although people have repeatedly reported this situation to the authorities, so far, no unit has overcome it.
