When entering the final battle, Do Duc Hieu had a performance that made the audience hold their breath. Accordingly, before the question in the final exam of contestant Giang Thanh Tung, Phan Minh Duc – Former student of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Hieu were only 15 points apart.

After Thanh Tung gave the wrong answer, Minh Duc pressed the bell to win the right to give the answer. For an English question, the correct answer would be “plumber”, although he understood the meaning and gave the answer, but because of pronunciation, when the time was up, MC Tung Chi asked Minh Duc to spell the letters again. And the answer Minh Duc gave was accepted.

Adding 30 points to the fund, Minh Duc won the championship. But the result did not satisfy the audience. Although he only won Olympia runner-up in the 10th year, Duc Hieu still made many people admire because of his “super terrible” academic achievement. During his high school years, he always won the title of excellent student, won the second prize in provincial math and the first prize in the Casio math contest.

And at the end of the journey to conquer the highest mountain of knowledge, Duc Hieu entered the Foreign Trade University. He excellently achieved 2 points of 10 in Math in 2 blocks: A and B.

The first year at university, the young man from Thanh participated in the National Mathematical Olympiad for students and won the third prize. He also took an online math test and worked as a tutor. He once confessed that after the first 2 years at university, he felt that he was not suitable for economics but did not want to stop because university is self-study. Therefore, he believes that he can follow his passion by self-study.

After graduating from Foreign Trade University with a degree in Foreign Trade, Duc Hieu went south to set up a career. Here he pursued the field of information technology – the key to his success in his future career.

Duc Hieu spent 3 years researching and cultivating his knowledge of information technology. Thanks to that, he became a hardcore programmer. Currently, he works as a software engineer and solutions architect in a famous technology corporation.

In 2018, Duc Hieu married a former contestant of the Road to Mount Olympia. The couple has a very lovely and lovely first daughter.
