Mr. Nam was the driver of a Mercedes car that hit one person and died due to a conflict at the embankment area of Pham Van Dong street (Binh Hung ward, Phan Thiet city) on the morning of May 12.
Regarding the incident, through camera extraction, the investigative agency determined, before Mr. Nam Tong died, 1 person was surrounded by many objects, so Mr. Nam and his friend X. were taken to assess the injury. on May 14, to have a basis to handle the people involved.
Initially, it was determined that Mr. Nam had scratches on his hands, bruises on his eyes and swelling in the head area. As for Mr. Nam’s friend, he was severely bruised in his hand, and his head and neck were swollen.
The investigative agency has also summoned a number of people involved to take statements, extract security cameras at restaurants on Pham Van Dong street to serve the investigation.
As VietNamNet reported, around 0:15 am on May 12, stemming from a conflict that nearly collided with traffic on Pham Van Dong Street, Phan Thiet City, Ha Xuan H’s group (43 years old, residing in Phan Thiet City) rode a motorbike. chasing and besieging Mr. Nam and his friends.
After that, when Mr. Nam was able to get into the car, group H. continued to use cups and buckets to throw at the car. Angered, Mr. Nam drove the car to rush many times into group H., causing H. to die by being run over.

After the incident, Mr. Nam drove the car back to Ho Chi Minh City and half a day later went to the Binh Thuan Provincial Police headquarters to confess and confess his behavior.

About the Mercedes car with BKS 30F-168.65, driven by Mr. Nam, was detained after completing the examination. Through data extraction, the investigating agency determined that the car was manufactured in 2018, by Mr. N.D.T. in Tho Quan ward, Dong Da district, Hanoi registered as a vehicle owner.
