At the end of April, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province made a decision to terminate investment activities in 2 mixed-use urban projects, Thai Duong 3 and Nam Huong, in Dien Nam – Dien Ngoc new urban area. Previously, this province also had a decision to terminate investment activities in 4 projects, including Bach Dat 3, Bach Dat 4, Bach Dat 5 and Bach Dat 6 urban areas, with a total area of ​​about 48 hectares.

“Reviewing the projects that are not guaranteed in terms of legality as well as financial capacity, organize the recall. We have withdrawn nearly 10 projects. This is the province we are very resolute about, due to the pictures. People’s emotions in the past time have affected security and order in the province,” said Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee.

The drastic termination of many projects by the Quang Nam government is a positive move, especially in the context that the province and the whole country in general are having many “controversial” cases related to these projects.
