Quang Nam: The question of a father holding his daughter jumping from Cua Dai bridge to commit suicide

On the afternoon of May 17, the leader of the People’s Committee of Cam Thanh Commune (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province) said that the rescue force is trying to find two missing people at Cua Dai Bridge.

According to initial information, around 11am on the same day, passersby discovered a man carrying a girl suddenly climbed over the railing of Cua Dai bridge and threw himself into the Thu Bon River. Discovering the incident, people ran to prevent it, but in time, the two victims were missing.
At the scene, the victim left a motorbike with license plate number 29E1-780.14, next to it were yellow sandals believed to belong to the baby.

After nearly an hour of searching efforts, the functional force found the man’s body, and the baby is still missing. People present at the scene said that this could be the father and son.
The identities of these two are being verified by authorities.
