Stocks skyrocketed more than 56 points

Stock market The domestic market is having a very good recovery session after a long drop because of selling. Open on the morning of May 17, VN-Index still submerged in red with investors still hesitant.
Because the selling pressure was no longer too great, the index got better and recorded a gain of 7 points right in the morning. Stocks suddenly accelerated in the afternoon when investors chased and continued to increase their momentum towards the end of the day.
All 30 stocks in the VN30 basket increased in price; in which there were up to 13 stocks that gained full range. Many codes in this group also increased close to the ceiling price.
In the group of key banking stocks, only SSB stands at reference. The rest of the stocks increased in price; in which, BID, CTG, LPB, MBB, OCB, SHB, STB, TCB, VPB hit the ceiling price.
Securities stocks simultaneously increased all the band, only DSC dropped in price. At the same time, the group of insurance stocks also had no stocks in the bearish direction. In particular, BVH, BIC, and MIG ticked to the limit.
In oil and gas stocks, PVE didn’t have any transactions, all the remaining stocks increased strongly. Even PLX, PVC, and PVD ended in purple.
Stocks in the chemical industry, real estate, construction and materials, automobiles and spare parts… also raced to the ceiling.
Closing the session on May 17, VN-Index increased by 56.42 points to 1,228.37 points. Trading volume reached nearly 584 million units, equivalent to more than 14,297.2 billion VND. There were 425 gainers on the whole floor; in which 151 stocks hit the ceiling. HOSE only had 58 discount codes and 22 standstill stocks.
HNX-Index increased 8.39 points to 315.44 points. Trading volume reached more than 79.7 million units, equivalent to more than 1,723.5 billion VND. There were 203 gainers on the whole floor; in which 51 stocks hit the ceiling. On the HNX, there were only 38 decliners and 22 standstill stocks.
UPCOM-Index increased 2.69 points to 95.89 points. Trading volume reached more than 41.4 million units, equivalent to nearly 693 billion dong. The whole floor had 250 stocks of increasing price, 63 stocks of decreasing and 36 stocks of standing still.
