The Pentagon revealed the truth about UFOs during a hearing at the US Congress

UFOs or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) are often reserved for the world of science fiction or suspicious conspiracy theories.

There are also ideas that the UFO/UAP could be a foreign military plane or a special secret US military aircraft.

However, up to now, the issues surrounding UFO/UAP are being considered especially seriously by US defense officials because they are related to national security issues.

The May 17 hearing of the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Nonproliferation comes after a landmark report on UAP requested by Congress was released in June 2021. , according to the sheet Newsweek.

In 2021, the Pentagon’s Unknown Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) Task Force released a nine-page report.

According to the report, UAPs investigated 144 reports from US government sources between 2004 and 2021. Of these, 80 are related to observations by sensors and 11 are about “near collision” between pilots of different types of aircraft and UAP.

The report does not reveal anything about the UAP, except for some characteristics such as “unusual” flight, fast movement and “unclear shape”.

According to the same report, UAP jeopardized the safety of many flights. It could also pose broader danger if it were a foreign intelligence operation against US military operations, or a potential adversary’s disruptive aerospace technology.
