After getting married, Mazibuko worked as a domestic helper for farm owners. The couple had 7 children, to date, 2 of them are still alive. In addition, she has 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Currently, she has a bit of a hearing loss but can still see. She is able to move around the house thanks to the support frame.
