VOV Bacsi24 is an online medical examination and treatment consulting application on smartphones and computers launched by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in 2017.

In April 2020, this application was approved by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Health and the Voice of Vietnam free service announcement for domestic people as well as overseas Vietnamese during the Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam.

During the 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic, VOV Bacsi24 has become an important utility, promptly supporting health care for people from afar, especially people in lockdown areas, unable to go to the hospital. periodic examination.

In the early period of 2022, when Covid-19 infections peaked in localities, on average, VOV Bacsi24 received 200 calls per day asking for medical examination about symptoms and treatment of Covid-19 infection. . The number of calls related to the Covid-19 epidemic accounts for 30% of daily incoming calls.

At the present time, VOV Bacsi24 has more than 1,000 specialist II doctors, deans and deputy deans at leading hospitals in the country providing 24/7 health care for people through the application.

Through this platform, people will be connected with medical experts, doctors of hospitals and can receive health advice anytime, anywhere, whenever there is a need.

According to the assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the VOV Bacsi24 platform has concretized the initiative “for each citizen, a separate doctor” outlined in the National Digital Transformation program.
