Analyst firm Counterpoint Research said that globally, there are now more than 500 million smartphone users from the Xiaomi brand – a milestone that has only happened to Samsung and Apple before.

This may also give Xiaomi more opportunities to monetize the above traffic smartphone and allows the company to sell IoT devices, headsets, smartwatches, and other gadgets.
Xiaomi’s tireless efforts have helped the company achieve many successes
It is known that 2021 is a successful year for the company thanks to the fact that users actively buy smartphones. The successful global expansion of Xiaomi particularly notable in India and Europe, where they became one of the top three OEMs in Q1 2022. In India, the company leads the market with a 23% market share, while ranking in 5th place in China.
Xiaomi’s average revenue per user (ARPU) in China is much higher than in other markets in the region, with the ARPU for high-end smartphones being higher than for lower-priced smartphones. This partly explains the importance for Xiaomi in its strategy to target the high-end smartphone segment in China, although demand seems weak right now.
Additional profit and revenue from users high-end smartphone in China can help Xiaomi further subsidize its overseas sales channels, expand into new countries and launch its global marketing campaigns.
