Speaking on the sidelines of the New Horizons educational marathon conference on May 17, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is facing a mixed war by Western countries, including conducted by the United States.

Also on the same day, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the country had summoned Finnish Ambassador to Moscow Antti Helantera to hand over a note protesting the expulsion of employees of the Russian Embassy in Helsinki.
