Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam welcomed the message of ITU Secretary General and said that this message is in line with Vietnam’s stance on digital transformation.

“Developing a digital economy is about making people richer, developing a digital society is about helping people be happier, participate in more comprehensive activities, and enjoy more favorable social security policies.” Deputy Minister Tam said.

The Deputy Minister also emphasized that developing digital platforms is a breakthrough solution to accelerate the digital transformation process, develop digital government, digital economy and digital society.
