“I used to have a period when I wanted to quit training. Because, the content of 7 pentathlons requires a lot of physical strength and sometimes I am very discouraged. 2020 is the time when I want to give up the most. At that time I got injured and I thought I would stop my sports career here. However, my teacher and family gave me the motivation to overcome difficulties, “- Linh Na shared.

7 pentathlon is a content that requires athletes to compete in the 100m hurdles, high jump, weightlifting, 200m run, long jump, javelin throw and 800m run, then add up the total points to calculate the final achievement.

A few months ago, Linh Na’s achievement at the national championship was 5,096 points and she was surprised that she was able to improve her achievement by 300 points to win the 31st SEA Games gold medal at home.

“When I entered the first exam, I didn’t think I could win. Actually, right now I still feel lightheaded, indescribable. This score is also my best achievement. I’ve been there ever,” Linh Na said.
