Microsoft Teams officially docked in the Microsoft Store
Microsoft has lived up to its promise by bringing the Teams app to the Microsoft Store so that users can download it years after it was introduced.
According to Neowin, if using Windows 10, users can download Teams from Microsoft Store without anything. The company said Teams on Windows 10 Works with work, school, and personal accounts.

This is different for Windows 11. Since Windows 11 has a built-in Chat application before (available on the taskbar by default and consuming quite a bit of resources) Teams Downloads from the Microsoft Store only support work with school accounts.
Microsoft announced Teams in 2016 and released the service in 2017 after a failed acquisition of Slack. The company worked to make Teams quite popular by combining it with existing Microsoft 365 subscriptions.
Despite these efforts by Microsoft, including packaging the application with Windows 11, consumers normally not excited about Teams. Most people continue to use mainstream messaging platforms and stay away from Teams.
