National conference to implement Resolution 06 of the Politburo on urban planning

The conference was convened by the Politburo and the Secretariat, organized in person at the Hall of the Central Committee of the Party, combined online to the bridge points, branches and relevant provinces and cities throughout the country. National Party Committee (for provincial and municipal Party Committees, they can go to commune and ward levels depending on conditions).

The conference will discuss issues of planning, construction, management and sustainable urban development in Vietnam to 2030, with a vision to 2045, connecting from the central bridge point to the provincial and district level bridges. , Commune.

The purpose of the conference is to request organizations to research, study, and thoroughly grasp the Politburo’s Resolution on planning, construction, management and sustainable development of urban areas in Vietnam to 2030, with a vision by 2045 to relevant departments, ministries and branches at the Central Government and provinces and cities directly under the Central Government.

Thereby, raising awareness, responsibility and political determination of all levels of Party committees, organizations, agencies, organizations, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members and members in order to develop drastically and effectively implement the Politburo’s Resolution.

Previously, the Politburo signed and promulgated Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW, dated January 24, 2022 “On planning, construction, management and sustainable development of urban areas in Vietnam to 2030 with a vision to 2020. 2045”; in order to accelerate the speed and improve the quality of urbanization, develop sustainable urban areas in a network, form a number of cities, smart dynamic urban chains connecting with the region and the world to meet the requirements spatial development, population and economy urban areas, ensuring national defense and security.

The Office of the Party Central Committee coordinates with the Central Economic Commission and relevant agencies to develop a plan to organize a conference to thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolution of the Politburo.

The Central Committee for Propaganda and Education has issued Guidance No. 45-HD/BTGTW on researching, learning, mastering and implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW, dated January 24, 2022 of the Politburo.
