The film crew responded to the use of BTS’ names and birthdays for the dead

My Daily reported the representative of the team Tomorrow responding to the use of BTS members’ birthdays for the deceased character in the movie. The controversy stemmed from the episode aired on April 22.

In this episode, the deceased character has the same name and birthday as V, Jung Kook – two members of the group BTS. This sparked controversy.

BTS is used for ten people in the movie 1Tomorrow starring Kim Hee Sun.

Many viewers were not satisfied with the above explanation. They hacked into the comments section on the movie’s official website.

According to the audience, V’s real name is Kim Tae Hyung and was born on December 30. Meanwhile, Kim Yu Rim’s September 1 birthday coincides with Jungkook’s. That made the public angry and criticized MBC.

Tomorrow is a fantasy film about the gods of death trying to save people who are contemplating suicide. The film adaptation of the manga debuted in 2017 and stars Kim Hee Sun, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Ro Woon (SF9).
