The “Tomorrow” crew denied using BTS’s name and date of birth for the dead. However, the audience was not satisfied and continued to criticize MBC.

In this episode, the deceased character has the same name and birthday as V, Jung Kook – two members of the group BTS. This sparked controversy.

Many viewers were not satisfied with the above explanation. They hacked into the comments section on the movie’s official website.

The audience asked MBC to remove the footage. In the movie scene, in the book of life and death, the audience discovered the words “Kim Tae Hyung, born on December 30, 1971” and “Kim Yu Rim, born on September 1, 1997” with the cause of death being homicide.

According to the audience, V’s real name is Kim Tae Hyung and was born on December 30. Meanwhile, Kim Yu Rim’s September 1 birthday coincides with Jungkook’s. That made the public angry and criticized MBC.

Tomorrow is a fantasy film about the gods of death trying to save people who are contemplating suicide. The film adaptation of the manga debuted in 2017 and stars Kim Hee Sun, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Ro Woon (SF9).
