Before that, on the night of May 15, in Khe Cat area, Minh Thanh ward, Mr. Diep Anh Tuan (born in 2005, living in Ha Long city) was robbed by two young men but did not report it to the police.
Through verification, Quang Yen Town Police determined that on May 10, Tung pledged to give Mr. Tuan a black iPhone 11 Pro Max brand phone for 10 million VND.
Because there was no money to redeem, Tung discussed and agreed with Duc and Nam to set up a scene to rob Tuan’s pledged phone.
On May 15, after informing Duc and Nam to prepare tools and means, Tung called Tuan to make an appointment to go home together to get the money back.
At 22:00 on the same day, when Tung took Tuan and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha (who is Tuan’s girlfriend) to the road in Khe Cat area, Tung stopped the car. At this time, Duc was driving a red motorbike, without a license plate, carrying Nam in the back.
Immediately, Nam got out of the car, his left hand grabbed his collar, his right hand held a knife to his neck, forcing Mr. Tuan to give all his possessions. To avoid suspicion of Mr. Tuan, Duc rushed in and pretended to hit Tung, stealing the white Iphone 6S that Tung was holding in his hand. After that, Duc and Nam quickly left the scene.
On May 16, after identifying the perpetrator of the crime, the Quang Yen Town Police temporarily detained Le Quang Tung, Pham Minh Duc, and Ta Van Nam to investigate and clarify the robbery. asset.
