Tickets for the 31st SEA Games men’s football final sold out quickly after only a few hours of posting. Meanwhile, tickets for the semi-finals were also pushed up very high on “online markets”.

According to the match schedule, the team U23 Vietnam won the right to the semi-finals against rival Malaysia U23. This match will take place at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho province at 7pm on May 19.

Starting from May 15, the BTC SEA Games 31 has opened the sale of tickets for the men’s football final on digiticket.vn. Although My Dinh Stadium has a capacity of about 40,000 seats, the organizers only sold about 20,000 tickets, leaving the rest for guests.

Very quickly, after only a short time of opening for sale, tickets to the final were sold out, although it is not known whether U23 Vietnam will pass the semi-finals or not. Grasping the scarcity of tickets and the desire to own the final ticket, the “online markets” were opened and openly sold tickets at prices many times higher than the original price.

Because the final ticket is an online ticket, many “ticket factions” also enthusiastically go out to the field to scan the QR code for buyers to enter the field or lead to the seat on the field.

However, on “online markets”, this price is almost nonexistent but is pushed up about 2-4 times depending on the location.

Positions at stands A and B on Viet Tri Stadium are for sale for 3.5-4 million VND/pair; Stands C and D cost from 1.5-2.4 million VND/pair. Many people even sell invitation tickets with the same price as tickets for stands A and B.

According to ticket factions, if U23 Vietnam passes the semi-finals and meets U23 Thailand in the final, the ticket price will be pushed even higher. This is the final that is highly anticipated by fans from the two top football backgrounds in the region.
