Announcement of the reference exam for the CAND entrance exam in 2022
Exams refer to the assessment test to help candidates visualize the format of the exam questions, thereby making an appropriate study plan. This is also the first year that the Ministry of Public Security organizes an assessment test to enroll students in schools CANDY school.
In 2022, CAND schools will enroll students in three ways.
Method 1: Direct admission according to current enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, regulations of the Ministry of Public Security. Applies to all CAND schools.
Method 2: Examination combined with international certificates (IELTS Academic certificate or TOEFL iBT certificate or HSK certificate) according to regulations of the Ministry of Public Security. Applicable to the International Academy, the Political Academy of the People’s Police, the Security Profession, and the Police Profession.
Method 3: Admission is based on the results of the high school graduation exam according to the combinations (A00, A01, B00, C00, C03, D01, D04) combined with the results of the regular People’s Police College entrance exam. CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4), referred to as the Ministry of Public Security exam. Applies to all CAND schools.
With methods 1 and 2 basically kept stable as in 2021. Particularly for method 3, there are adjustments compared to 2021, so candidates need to pay more attention to the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security.
In terms of structure, the Ministry of Public Security’s 2022 regular college admissions assessment exam consists of two parts: a multiple-choice part and an essay part.
Candidates take the test in 180 minutes (in 1 session), in which the multiple-choice part is 90 minutes and the essay part is 90 minutes.
2022 is the first year the Ministry of Public Security organizes an assessment test for admission to the People’s Public Security schools.
The exam is expected to be held by the Ministry of Public Security about 10 days after the high school graduation exam.
Candidates can choose one of the 4 exam question codes according to the wishes of the candidate registered during pre-qualification: CA1 (Multiple choice: Natural sciences, social sciences, English language; Essay section. : Maths);
CA2 (Multi-choice section: Natural sciences, social sciences, English language; Essay section: Literature);
CA3 (Multi-choice section: Natural sciences, social sciences, Chinese language; Essay section: Math);
CA4 (Multi-choice section; Field of natural science, field of social science, Chinese language; Essay part: Literature).
Candidates take the exam at CAND colleges and universities according to the wishes of the candidates registered during the pre-qualification. The results of the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security accounted for 60% of the total admission score, the high school graduation exam score of the Ministry of Education and Training accounted for 40% of the total admission score.
