Two works in the field of defense performed by a team of scientists at Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group were awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize.
The honoring ceremony was held by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of National Defense on the morning of May 19. State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc presents prizes to the authors.
These are two works considered and recommended by the State Council for awards among three works selected by the Ministry of National Defense in 2020. According to the Department of Military Science (Ministry of National Defense), two works of Viettel Group are carried out by a team of 49 scientists and young officers with intensive training.
Two works are granted 10 patents, of which 2 are US patents and 8 are domestic.

Through five times of consideration for the award in 1996, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015, there have been 17 works and clusters of works by authors of the Ministry of National Defense received this noble award.
The Ho Chi Minh Prize and the 6th State Prize in Science and Technology have been deployed by the Ministry of Science and Technology – the Standing Agency since December 2020, and the Ministry of National Defense has assigned the Military Science Department – Standing agency of the Ministry of National Defense, in coordination with the awarding organization within the Ministry of National Defense.
