For the first time participating in the SEA Games arena, athlete Bui Manh Hung excellently won the gold medal in the 67kg weight category.

Notably, the name Bui Manh Hung suddenly caused a stir in social networks thanks to his handsome appearance, outstanding height and “extreme” physique. In particular, he also excellently brought home the Gold Medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation.

Born and raised in Hoa Binh, from grade 1 to grade 5, Hung attended school at home. In 2011, the guy began to study sports and became acquainted with wrestling. “Wrestling requires a lot of factors, but I keep trying to practice, and I will get used to it.” Hung said.

Although no one in his family pursues the field of sports competition, Manh Hung is still determined to pursue this passion. Family and friends are the driving force for him to achieve what he is today.
“I want to give this award to my parents and all my loved ones. Having achieved high results, I am also very happy and realize that I have achieved the things I have dreamed of for a long time“, Manh Hung shared.

When asked about the hard training he had to go through, he said that in 2015, because he competed in a small weight category, he had to force weight. The process of losing weight was arduous and difficult, and at times made him want to give up.
“At that time, I was so tired that I didn’t want to stand but just wanted to lie down comfortably. I competed in 53kg but my weight is 59kg. Although I don’t have to put on too much weight, my body is difficult to lose, making it quite difficult for me“, Hung confided.

It is known that Manh Hung currently has a girlfriend. The two have known each other for over 7 years.
