The mid-range smartphone Infinix Note 12 VIP was officially introduced with a “delicious” configuration, on par with Samsung’s Galaxy A73.

Infinix Note 12 VIP broke the barrier with 120W charging in the mid-range segment. The phone also boasts a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 108MP camera.

With the above fast charging capability, the 4,500mAh battery has up to 103 protection features, including 18 temperature sensors. According to Infinix, the battery of the device will retain 85% of its capacity after 800 charge cycles.

The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 10-bit, 100% DCI-P3 coating, and 120Hz refresh rate (with 360Hz touch sampling rate).

Another upgrade exclusive to Infinix Note 12 VIP is the main camera containing a 108MP sensor (1 / 1.67 inch size, 1.92µm pixel size and using 9 in 1 pixel binning technology). The rear camera cluster also has a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera and Laser AF system.

Also released with the Infinix Note 12 VIP is the Infinix Note 12 (G96). The phone is integrated with Helio G96 chip, manufactured on 12nm process (including: 2 A76 cores, 6 A55 cores, Mali-G57 MC4 graphics). This chip also powers the Infinix Note 12 VIP but has better cooling with 9 layers of graphene and a vapor chamber while the Note 12 (G96) has 10 layers of graphene and no vapor chamber.

The Infinix Note 12 (G96) has the same specifications as the Infinix Note 12. More specifically, it has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 10-bit support. The rear camera setup includes: a 50MP main camera (1/2.8 inch sensor) and a 2MP secondary camera (no super wide-angle camera). The phone has a 5,000mAh battery but charges more slowly at 33W.

Infinix Note 12 (G96).

The two new Infinix Note 12 models both have a 16MP selfie camera and run XOS 10.6 software (based on Android 12). In addition, both have 8GB RAM and can enable 5GB of virtual RAM. They all have dual speakers with DTS but only the Infinix Note 12 VIP has dual X-axis linear motors for superior haptic feedback.

Infinix Note 12 VIP will soon be available in some regions for 300 USD (equivalent to 6.93 million VND), strongly competing with the Galaxy A73. Infinix Note 12 (G96) will be sold for a lower price – 200 USD (about 4.62 million VND).
