Urgently prepare a giant indoor stage for the closing ceremony of the 31st SEA Games

On the night of May 23, the closing ceremony of the 31st SEA Games will take place. In order for the event to run smoothly, the Organizing Committee has carefully prepared. The stage was preliminarily erected, and the floor was assembled from the morning of May 19. It is expected that the entire preparation process will be completed by May 21. After that, there will be a day to review the program and the closing performances.

Giant LED screen SEA OATS

Do not use technology mapping like 31st SEA Games opening ceremony, a large LED screen with a large area, will become the means of conveying the ideas of the director’s team. Due to the size of closing ceremony Indoor organization should be smaller than the opening ceremony. That’s why all the effort is invested in the projection screen and lighting. Stage area lights are installed additionally. The main LED screen will be erected in the center and two left areas. The two sides of the wall next to the stands are arranged like a star wall with many small lights. Organizing Committee prepared more than 2000 seats for both the organizers and the audience. Workers and technical staff must rush in each stage to keep up with the set schedule. Normally, with such a large project, it would take at least 4 days to complete the details, but the Organizing Committee had to shorten it to 2 days. Because everything is quite urgent, the number of personnel must be added.

Fast but safe is always first. The supervision is organized very strictly. It can be seen that the entire playing surface has been covered with a thick layer of carpet for protection. Transporting building blocks and tools is easy to cause scratches. Besides, the framing for the projection screen must be erected high, so there must be a seat belt. The electrical, lighting and fire fighting systems are under the supervision of relevant ministries. The Ministry of Construction has carried out the inspection of structure, security, and fire prevention during the entire preparation process.

The stage assembly and light and sound adjustment are done synchronously. On the evening of May 20, technical inspection will be conducted. On the night of May 21, the stage will be rehearsed with sound and light. As planned on the evening of May 22, the final rehearsal for the closing ceremony will take place at Indoor track and field.
