But as a profession, we also want to exploit to the end, want to “get there”, want to give the character a journey, even if it ends in bitterness, then the happiness they will receive later will also truly deserved.

There is a memory I do not forget when I made “Rose on the left chest”. At that time, the movie was just writing the script, filming, and broadcasting, and the actor didn’t know how the story would end, so one day Mr. Khoa called me, very worried. He said that Hong Diem read until Khue found out she was pregnant, then Diem disagreed.

At that time, Khue was facing her husband’s adultery, her girlfriend was pregnant, and her husband wanted a divorce. I was very surprised at that time, and also very interesting to Hong Diem, because not all actors have such clear views on the character. After that, I had a very specific discussion with Diem, both by phone, and by email, why the script team created such a situation.
