Car models expected to welcome Vietnamese customers in June

Of these names, only Nissan Kicks is the first model to be sold in Vietnam, the rest are new generations or mid-life upgrades of current models. The launch time in June is information from agents to customers.

Nissan Kicks located in the B segment has been sold for a long time in foreign countries, but for the first time in Vietnam. According to the dealer, this model will use only one hybrid gasoline engine and costs about 600-700 million VND. Dealers have received deposits since March, likely to launch in June next.

Kicks’ hybrid engine is called an e-power and features an electric motor only. The gasoline engine is only used to run the generator to charge the motor.

Honda HR-WORLD is possibly the first model to debut in this group, on June 18. New HR-Vs have appeared on specialized transport vehicles in Vietnam. Dealers have also started accepting deposits for this model with an expected price of 750 to 900 million VND depending on the version.

The new generation HR-V changes the entire interior and exterior design, similar to the Civic style launched earlier this year. The car uses a 1.5 turbo engine instead of the old 1.8. According to the dealer, it is likely that the car has 3 versions like the Civic, there is no hybrid version like the foreign market.

Isuzu mu-X returned to Vietnam with two versions of petrol and oil. The new generation of mu-X has redesigned lamp clusters, grille, refined interior, steering wheel cluster and center screen area.

The new generation mu-X uses the same 1.9 turbo diesel engine as on the D-max pickup, it is unclear whether the 3.0 gasoline version will be brought to Vietnam. According to the dealer, the selling price of mu-X is equivalent to the old version, ranging from 800 million to less than 1 billion dong. In the 7-seat high chassis segment with removable chassis, mu-X will have to face a lot of heavyweights like TToyota Fortuner, Ford Everest nice Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Ford Ranger There are almost no old cars left, customers also start to sign and wait for new cars. The company has not announced the launch time of the car, which is likely to be in June.

The new Ranger has been completely redesigned with accents on the front and rear lights, a new steering wheel, a large central screen placed vertically. The car’s engine is still a 2.0 turbo to ensure that the price of the car is not affected much by taxes. Currently, Ranger is still the best-selling pickup truck on the market.

Mitsubishi Xpander is the next model that may launch in June. Before that, this model was caught testing in Hanoi with a slight change in appearance in the front and rear light clusters. The handbrake switches from mechanical to electronic and the steering wheel has a new design.

According to dealers, the new generation Xpander is expected to launch in June and the car is still imported CBU from Indonesia. Currently, Xpander is facing stiff competition from newly launched competitors Toyota Veloz Cross.

In addition to the above models, when the Vietnamese market will also have the appearance of Kia Sportage, some electric car models like Kia EV6, VinFast VF8 or VF9.
