Commencement of the “snow town” tourist complex on the top of Mau Son
On May 20, Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee and Sun Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Mau Son cable car and eco-tourism complex project at Mau Son peak, Loc Binh district, Lang Son province.
The Mau Son cable car and eco-tourism complex is a key project in the Mau Son tourism development roadmap to 2030, which has been approved by the Prime Minister. Since then, it has become a national tourist area with typical tourism products of mountain resort tourism, spiritual cultural tourism and ecological tourism of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region and the whole country.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lang Son province said that this is a very important project, which is expected to be a strong driving force for the development of the tourism and service industry. particular and the whole economy of Lang Son province in general.
With such a position and importance, the project has been included in the list of key projects by the People’s Committee of Lang Son province to focus on directing, urging and implementing during the past time.
After the groundbreaking ceremony, Sun Group will embark on the implementation of the first item of the project, which is the cable car line, two departure stations and two arrival stations. The total length of cable car works deployed at this stage is expected to be about 6km, divided into two routes: Xuan Man – Phat Chi (4.2km) and Phat Chi – Mau Son (1.8km).
Along with that, the following items will be deployed to complete a tourist entertainment complex with the theme “snow town” throughout.
The focus of the project will be the Sun World entertainment complex on the Mau Son peak area, with 3 themed subdivisions: Snow Castle, Mist Village and Lava City.
In addition, on the top of Buddha Only, a spiritual tourist complex will be built, with the focus being a giant-sized reclining Buddha statue.

Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, said that despite being heavily affected after two years of the epidemic, as soon as tourism reopens, the group is determined to immediately start construction of the tourist complex project. Ecological calendar, Mau Son cable car.
