Before that, Lo Thanh Thuy (born in 2006 living in Dien Bien district) went alone from home to Dien Bien Technical and Economic College to continue her studies. Until 9 p.m. on the same day, Thao made a phone call to her panicked family: “I made friends on Facebook and was lured by my friends to drop out of school to earn money, now I want to go back home but now I I don’t know where, I just know that the bus is on the way down to Lao Cai through the territory of Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province”.

In recent years, many traffickers have been arrested by the police force.

The wavering phone call then made Mr. Ca Van Soan extremely confused and worried, afraid that Thao would be tricked by others to sell to China. Soon after, Mr. Soan came to report the incident to Thanh Yen Commune Police.

After receiving the report, Thanh Yen Commune Police coordinated with Binh Lu Commune People’s Committee, Tam Duong District and Traffic Police Team No. 4, Traffic Police Division, Lai Chau Provincial Police to urgently launch a force to verify and track down Thuy’s granddaughter. .

Because it was raining and dark at night, the phone could not be contacted, so the functional units had to cross the forest and check each vehicle on National Highway 4D to find Thuy. By professional measures, after more than 10 hours, the functional units found and brought Thao back to reunite with her family.
