Disarrayed after the explosion and fire in Binh Phuoc, the couple is in critical condition

On the afternoon of May 20, authorities said that they were investigating the cause of the explosion and fire that occurred at a gas extraction facility in Son Tung village, Tho Son commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province as a husband and wife. The owner of the facility suffered severe burns.

The scene of the explosion was littered with mini gas cylinders

According to initial information, about 9 o’clock on the same day, people living around the facility to extract gas suddenly heard many consecutive explosions. After that, the fire spread to cover the gas extraction facility with an area of ​​hundreds of square meters.

Hearing the cry for help, local people promptly saved the two owners of the establishment out. However, the wife suffered severe burns, the husband suffered from gas poisoning. Both husband and wife were rushed to the hospital by locals.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Binh Phuoc Province dispatched 3 specialized vehicles and 20 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

At the scene, the area where the fire broke out contained many flammable items, along with hundreds of small and large gas cylinders that continuously exploded, making it difficult for the firefighting work to occur.

After more than 2 hours, the forces had completely controlled the fire. Almost the entire area is about 250 m² of the facility to extract gas with many assets, 7 motorbikes were burned.
