He threatened to burn his wife with gasoline when he couldn’t sell his house

Vinh PhucMr. Dao Ngoc Thin, 58, controlled his wife with a gun and poured gasoline on his wife, threatening to burn him when he was not given real estate documents to carry out the selling procedures.

On May 20, Mr. Thin is being investigated by Binh Xuyen District Police for acts such as threatening to kill, illegally arresting people, intentionally causing injury and illegally possessing explosives.

Mr. Thin said recently that he needed money to pay, asked his wife to give real estate documents bought from 2016 to sell a part of it, but was refused.

At noon on May 15, Mr. Thin locked and beat his wife in his house in Thanh Lanh village, Trung My commune. He also used a knife and a gun to control and douse his wife with gasoline, threatening to burn her.

When the police and local authorities arrived at the scene to convince him, Mr. Thin agreed to release his wife, but he still entrenched himself in the house at level 4, locked to the left of the door. Police rushed in to control, recovered two knives, a flintlock gun, 2 bullets and a homemade grenade.
