Indonesia lifts ban on palm oil exports

This is due to the fact that the average domestic cooking oil price has begun to fall as well as the effects of the ban on palm oil workers. Currently, the price of cooking oil in Indonesia is at 17,200 Rupiah to 17,600 Rupiah, down nearly 2,000 rupiah compared to April. The Indonesian government will continue to monitor the situation to ensure the price is suitable for the people.

In late April, Indonesia imposed an export ban on crude and refined palm oil products after months of cooking oil shortages, affecting millions of Indonesians.
