According to people witnessing at the scene of the accident, at about 6 p.m. on May 19, a tractor truck carrying BS: 65C-129.28 (driver’s name unknown) pulled a trailer carrying BS: 65R-006.07 in traffic. traffic on Trung Luong – My Thuan highway, in the direction from Trung Luong to My Thuan.
When reaching the section Km99+800, the section in Cai Be district (Tien Giang), suddenly collided with a Mercedes C300 with BS: 95A-063.67 circulating in the same direction.
After the strong collision, the Mercedes C300 was horizontal in front of the tractor, and many hard dividers were pushed to the opposite road.
Due to many medians and 2 accident vehicles blocking 2 lanes, traffic in the area was congested for many kilometers. After the accident, the tractor and the Mercedes C300 were badly damaged.
