Postponing the adjustment of gasoline prices

According to regulations from January 2, the operating period gas price oil will be reduced from 15 days to 10 days, ie three times a month. Accordingly, the price management time will fall on the 1st, 11th and 21st of every month.

However, for the operating periods that coincide with a holiday or public holiday according to the regulations of the State, the operating time is postponed to the next working day after the holiday or public holiday. Therefore, the operating period on May 21, which coincides with a Saturday will be postponed to May 23.

Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Director of the Domestic Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) confirmed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Finance will adjust the retail price of petrol at 3pm on May 23.

Currently, petroleum wholesalers have also informed distributors and retailers about the time to adjust prices next period.

Previously in the latest adjustment period, on 11/5, E5RON92 gasoline was adjusted up 1,491 VND/liter; gasoline RON95-III increased by 1,554 VND/liter; 0.05S diesel oil increased by 1,120 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 1,340 VND/liter; mazut oil 180CST 3.5S remains the same.

The current domestic gasoline selling price at the moment is:

– E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 28,959 VND/liter

– RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 29,988 VND/liter

– 0.05S diesel oil: not higher than 26,650 VND/liter

– Kerosene: not higher than 25,168 VND/liter

– Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 21,560 VND/kg
