Evaluating the semi-final match, Coach Park Hang Seo admitted that U23 Vietnam had a lot of difficulties against Malaysia. “Not only this match but other matches are also very difficult. Today, the semi-final match has a certain pressure, but fortunately we still won tickets to the final. The team has many shortcomings but we will try our best. When asked to rate the national team and U23 Malaysia, Mr. Park said: “As the head coach of Vietnam, it is difficult for me to evaluate Malaysia. However, U23 and the Malaysian national team have many good players. Vietnam or Malaysia, with the situation that we are always competing, is a good thing for Southeast Asian football. Vietnam has many good players and so does Malaysia.”

Mr. Park shared more about the match: “I always hope the players can play with the right tactics, but football has many variables, it is a sport played with feet and with opponents. What happens? The pitch didn’t go as expected. In fact, today my players tried to play as they were supposed to. It’s the results that matter. At this point, it’s the mental work of the players that matters to us. I will aim to have a good match against Thailand U23”.

Talking about the final against Thailand U23, Mr. Park said: “About the match against Thailand, we watched many of their videos and studied them very carefully. Today, videos of their semi-final match were recorded by us. Tomorrow, I will work with the BHL to discuss the plan to fight Thailand.”
