Leaving children temporarily away from ipads, phones, computers and enjoying exciting experiences outdoors is the desire of most parents when the school year ends.
The annual English summer camp at Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) provides children with a dynamic and rewarding learning playground with picnics, camps, sports, arts and skill development in the classroom. 6 weeks summer. In particular, nearly 70% of the program is delivered in English with the participation of foreign teachers and experts in many fields. The program is extended to students outside the VAS system.
Physical development and elective gifted subjects
At this year’s Summer Camp, for the first time, students in grades 5-10 are free to choose to study gifted subjects and sports according to their interests. The program offers 4 hours of lessons per week in sports including football, basketball, badminton, chess, dodge and performance skills with singing, keyboard, traditional and modern dance. Meanwhile, students in grades 1-4 get to participate in 5 hours of drama per week to hone their language, storytelling skills and public confidence.

In addition, children are also supplemented with English vocabulary to be ready to enter the Cambridge program and national education in the new school year.

At this Summer Camp, VAS will give students a completely different experience with 2 unique camps themed on nature and sustainable practice in Hoi An – Da Nang (grade 5). -7) and in Quang Binh (grades 8-9). The camp lasts 4 days and 3 nights with diverse activities to help students practice independence, develop survival skills, expand their vision and sense of conservation of cultural and natural heritages of the nation. .
