According to initial information, at around 19:07 on May 19, 2022, the Hanoi Police Command Center received a fire alarm at Lane 440 Lac Long Quan Street, Nhat Tan Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi. .

The Hanoi Police Command Information Center has mobilized 5 fire engines and 1 water tank from the following units: Tay Ho District Police, Cau Giay District, and Area Fire & Rescue Police Team No. 3 – The Fire and Rescue Police Department and more than 40 officers and soldiers came to the scene to deploy the fire fighting.

Assessing the complicated situation of the fire because the combustible substances are mainly combustible materials, producing a lot of toxic fumes and gases, and the fire speed spreads quickly (clothes, advertising tarpaulins,…) has urgently directed the exploitation of water sources to organize fire fighting, prevent the fire from spreading to the areas of business households and neighboring houses, and at the same time directed the ward police forces, the people’s room, … organize to ensure security and order in the area where the fire occurs.

More than 40 officers of fire prevention and fighting and district police were urgently dispatched to the scene.

By 20:20 on the same day, the fire was controlled by the Fire and Rescue Police force, thereby protecting the fire from spreading to adjacent business households and neighboring houses. Around 10 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished.

The fire was completely extinguished by 22:00.

According to initial statistics, the total area of ​​​​the fire incident is about 150m2, including residential houses and part of the area of ​​adjacent business households (photocopying business households, advertising business households, fashion business households). The fire did not cause any loss of life.

According to Mr. Dang Huu Tien, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nhat Tan ward (Tay Ho district, Hanoi), the house that caught fire was a temporary house with corrugated iron, grade 4.
