The Food Safety Authority recalls kidney tonic and physiological enhancement products

Food Safety Department has just issued Decision 181/QD-ATTP (Decision 181) dated May 18 to recall 5 unsafe food products produced at Vinh Dien Pharmaceutical – Manufacturing Co., Ltd (Dan Phuong Commune, Dong Nai Province). H.Dan Phuong, Hanoi).

There are 5 products mentioned in Decision 181. Among them, there are products healthy food Co Hoan Duong plus (lot number: SOLO: 02.2022, Manufacturer: 11.5.2022, HSD: 10.5.2025) by Ngoc Nu Protect Health Trading and Service Co., Ltd (Van Dien Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province) register the product announcement; Receipt of registration of product announcement No. 6537/2021/DKSP dated July 18, 2021.

The product must be recalled because it was produced at an establishment that has not been granted a certificate of food safety eligibility, meeting the requirements of good manufacturing practice (GMP) for health-protective foods as prescribed.

The second is the product Kumiko slim (labeled Pharma Quoc Anh Co., Ltd., address: Khanh Ha commune, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi). The product does not include the batch number, production date, and expiration date.

Reason for recall: the product is manufactured at an establishment that has not been granted a Certificate of Food Safety Eligibility.

The third product is Apple Cider Vinegar slim (lot number: 01.2022, NSX: 26.2.2022, HSD: 25.2.2205) with the label: health food Apple cider vinegar slim supports fat loss; The trader responsible for product quality and distribution is Dan Thy Import-Export Investment Joint Stock Company, located at 164/10 An Phu Dong 9, Quarter 1, An Phu Dong Ward, Dist. 12, HCMC.

Products manufactured at establishments that do not have a Certificate of eligibility for food safety and meet the requirements of good manufacturing practice (GMP) are recalled. SCREEN CAPTURE

Four is the Nio Slim product: the health food label Nio Slim supports slimming; on the label there is no name of the unit announcing or manufacturing the product. Products without batch number, production date, expiry.

According to the Food Safety Authority, the reason for recalling the third and fourth products is because the products manufactured at the facility are not issued with a certificate of food safety eligibility, which meets the requirements of good manufacturing practice. The Food Safety Authority also recalled Stony’s products to strengthen kidney and yang, enhance physiology. The above products manufactured at the facility are not issued with a sufficient certificate of establishment food safety conditions meeting the requirements of good manufacturing practice (GMP) for health-protecting foods as prescribed, the establishment is not granted a certificate of eligibility for food safety; do not make product announcement according to regulations.

The Food Safety Authority said that the time limit for recalling the products is until May 25, 2022.
