According to statistics of the Ministry of Health, new infections were recorded in the country (down 128 cases compared to the previous day) in 51 provinces and cities (1,380 cases in the community).

Since the beginning of the epidemic, our country has recorded a total of 10,706,111 infections, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories.

For the fourth outbreak alone (from April 27, 2021 to present), the number of infections recorded in the country is 10,698,354 cases, of which 9,387,215 patients have been declared cured. Localities with high cumulative infections during this outbreak: Hanoi (1,597.114), Ho Chi Minh City (609,131), Nghe An (483,942), Bac Giang (387,504), Binh Duong (383,759).

Regarding the treatment of COVID-19, during the day, the Ministry of Health recorded 7,151 patients declared cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 9,390,032. During the day, there were 2 deaths in Tay Ninh (1) and Tra Vinh (1).

Currently, the total number of doses of the vaccine has been administered is 218,799,777 doses, of which, the number of doses given to people 18 years of age and older is 198,126,724 doses, and the number of doses administered to children aged 12-17 years is 17,420,852 doses. and the number of doses for children from 5-11 years old is 3,252,201 doses.
