Despite the improvement, Internet speed in Vietnam has not been able to return to the rank at the beginning of the year because the old cable break problems have not been completely overcome, while some new cable lines have broken. The latest, mid-April, tAPG cable has a problem on the S1.7 segment, causing the user’s international Internet access to be affected.

Vietnam currently operates 7 undersea cable routes, serving more than 97 million people, with an average of 14 million people per line. This number is low compared to other countries in the region such as Singapore and Thailand, while the demand for Internet use in the country is increasing.
