In the history of women’s football at the SEA Games, both countries have established a record of winning gold medals three times in a row: 1985, 1995 and 1997 for Thailand, and 2001, 2003 & 2005 for Vietnam. Of course, the upcoming battle will be extremely stressful, but we have faith in the Vietnamese girls, especially when they are cheered by tens of thousands of spectators on the field and millions of people across the country on television.
