5G waves with “terrible” speed at My Dinh Stadium to welcome Vietnam U23 match

At the same time, VNPT also increased the coverage area, specialized technical equipment and mobile broadcasting vehicles distributed around My Dinh stadium, both inside and outside the field; added many mobile stations, configuration stations: 3G/4G/5G (5G 02 sectors) and 3G/4G configuration stations (3 sectors).

Notably, VNPT said, they have deployed 5G technology in the area of ​​My Dinh stadium with the measured speed in the field reaching 900Mbps – 1Gbps. Along with that, VNPT has deployed beam antennas, twin beam antennas, tripper beam antennas to control the coverage area, and strengthen the capacity for points with high traffic forecast at My Dinh Stadium.

Previously, in the days of football matches at Thien Truong and Viet Tri stadiums, VNPT recorded an increase in mobile subscription volume using data and voice from 30% – 50%. The opening ceremony at My Dinh stadium also recorded an increase in data and voice traffic up to 90%.

Therefore, it is expected that the final match to mobile traffic (voice and data) will increase many times. However, according to a representative of VNPT, with the above total preparation, VNPT’s infrastructure can completely serve and meet 100% of the audience’s experience needs.
